Yes, having the feeding tube is my absolute major regret as it did nothing for my beloved Emmi Sue. Our vet (and I hold no ill will towards her) saw that I was desperate to do anything for my little girl, but neglected to inform me that the feeding tube would only give her maybe a few more weeks, or even just days, of life. Had I known that I would never have put her through the procedure and instead let her go peacefully in my arms. I see that a short while after Emmi Sue received her e-tube ... this post. Is the tube the source of your regret? I don't want to selfishly put my darling through hell ... but had been hoping it would help. I'd be grateful for your perspective.
